Good news: unlike coffee, the caffeine in tea is released more slowly thanks to the presence of tannins. This means a gentler, longer-lasting effect without spikes or crashes in energy.

For a lighter version, you can do a quick first steep (30 seconds), discard it, then re-steep the same leaves.
